A new season of TopSpin 2K25 is live in-game now, and as you’d expect considering current real-life events, it’s taking to the grass with a Wimbledon-themed Centre Court pass. The real-life tournament – scheduled to run from 1st July through 14th July – is the oldest event in the tennis calendar, and is defined by its traditions. You can expect a locker room of unlocks inspired by The Championships, as well as various in-game items in the virtual Pro Shop.
The press release reveals: “Also available as unlockable rewards in Centre Court Pass Season 2 are two alternate attires for cover icon Serena Williams, including the attire she wore in her 2015 Wimbledon victory, available to players who reach Free Tier 5, and her US Open 2016 outfit, available to players who reach Free Tier 50. Players who purchase the Premium Centre Court Pass for Season 2 will also have the opportunity to earn and unlock alternate outfits for pros Iga Świątek and Matteo Berrettini.”

Those more interested in free content will also find current World No 1 Jannik Sinner added to the roster of real-life pros for free, alongside his custom Gucci duffle bag. “Gucci apparel from the newly-announced Gucci Tennis collection will become available as in-game items on June 27, 2024 as exclusive rewards for winning matches in the TopSpin 2K25 World Tour Gucci Tennis Cup.”

And if that wasn’t enough Gucci for you, a “new grass court based in Italy, created in collaboration with Gucci, and featuring Gucci branding, is also available today in Exhibition mode as well as in World Tour for a limited-time through the Gucci Tennis Cup”. That’s a lot of licensed content, then, and plenty to keep you engaged through the grass court season.

Hopefully they'll be adding more players to the roster as time goes on.
Maybe they’ll add some ‘world grasses’ where you can choose what continent grass you’d like all for the princely sum of £8:99.. a month…plus access to your pension when you retire
@Mikey856 not a bad price for grass. It's usually £60 for a quarter.
@riceNpea 50 round here shhh
Pay for grass? I'm not a goat, I love old sports games where there were no seasons, this is a *****.
It take ages to work through tiers and levels
In fairness it is kinda great they’re adding major pros to the roster. The problem with tennis (and golf) games is that it’s always been impossibly costly to license enough players.
I don’t think that last EA PGA game managed to add any additional pros but they’ve already added a big name.
@Frmknst
It may not look amazing. But it does look really good when playing (courts etc.) and the animations are top notch. The game still has a few balancing issues though (it’s better with the latest patch, but needs more!). It does play great though, best I’ve ever felt in a tennis game.
What an an amazing load of corporate nonsense. For money.
I'm hoping this comes to PlayStation Plus at some point 🤞
